OD-Boxes - Internal and External type.

VTMS offers maintenance services from OD-Boxes in the following scope of work:

•      General overhaul, 
•      Emergency repair,
•      Inspection,
•      Spare parts verification,

The service could be done in port or during the dry docking period. It depends on customer needs.

Overhaul:
- Dismantle of the OD-Box ring and elements.
- Verification of the OD-Box ring and shaft.
- Replacement  of OD-Box ring.
- Repair of OD-Box ring and shaft.
- Replacement of bearings and seals.
- Hydraulic system verification and adjustment.

Inspection:
- Dismantle of the OD-Box ring and elements.
- Visual condition.
- Verification of the OD-Box ring and shaft.
- OD-Box test leak.
- Hydraulic system test.

The scope of work to be agreed with Shipowner.

The work carried out is supported by a professional service report, which contains key descriptions and technical specifications.
